If you're interested in collecting knives, then the Knife Fair itself is obviously an ideal opportunity to talk to those who actually make knives before buying them! However, there is also another Knife Show in the UK that's worth a visit:

Knives UK is a Knife Show run by Mike Keogh which hosts some of the top knife makers in the country. A great chance to meet the makers and discuss knives.

Knife Forums and Message Boards

If you want to find out more about knife collecting, get answers about making knives and talk to other collectors, there are some excellent knife web forums, message boards and knife discussion boards to talk to others who share your enthusiasm. You'll sometimes be able to read what others have written without having to register, but to post on the discussion groups you'll normally have to register with a user name and password. BritishBlades is a UK focused site which includes an excellent discussion forum, plus news, reviews, bookshop and other useful details for knife collectors.

KnifeForums is a US based discussion board with tens of thousands of posts. Has general knife discussions, custom knife making, sword forums, designing, making and showing off of knives plus manufacturers discussion forums.

BladeForums is again a US based discussion board with thousands of posts covering topics relevant to knife collectors, custom knife makers, sword enthusiasts, designing and making knives.

Ramanon's Knife Forums covers Leathercraft, Custom Knife Creations, Scandinavian Knives, Metal Forging and plenty of other topics.
